The relay communication system, mounted on small Mahindra 550 jeep (Made in India). The system includes a retractable satellite and mini GDT antennas, system box, retractable generator, air conditioner, laptor mount etc.
The one system box protecting all "weak" devices from heavy environment. One box air conditioner chosen to keep the inside temperature in range. To retract a satellite antenna it needs to be rotated on special pin and fixed. End sensors are verifying the good locking and approve the activation. To ensure the best working conditions for satellite antenna, the vehicle equipped by four jacks. Generator bridge takes all motion loads and prove easy retraction and assembly back. The main issue of this project was a loads control on axles during all of the design and finding an optimal placement for each component. To keep an all over vehicle weight in range a lot of mechanical parts were designed to be made from aluminum. All loaded constructions and parts were pass a COSMOS analysis.
The mechanical parts designed for technologies: Sheet Metal St.Steel and aluminum, welding, riveting, air flow design, heavy loaded constructions, antennas retractors, cabling, labels etc.
